Re: Want to see your setup
I've just been given permission to release these images of the Bell 206 controls from Simroom that will be available for purchase in February.
I had a great chat with David from Simroom today about the Huey controls and he was very responsive to the idea and we even came up with the idea of making the collective head 'interchangeable' so that a head from the 206, UH-1H and the AH-1G could be mounted on the end of the collective.
As soon as I have pricing information and details about splitting the components out, I'll post them up.

That's a great ideal...When can we order the Huey collective?

Re: Want to see your setup
After five days of work I finally extended my X52 stick. Wasn't that easy, especially with the sensors since I wanted them to be as sensitive as possible but the end result is very satisfying and actually doesn't require any curves or saturation in game to work properly.
I also wanted it to be functional for other flight sims so if I put a small plastic plate on top of spring (under the leather cover) it still has the ability to self-center.
And here are pcs of my freetrack setup. I made it quite some time ago and it still serves me very well (and costed me about 20$, including the ridiculusly cheap PS3Eye camera) and can be adjustable to any headphones.
Now I only have to make the collective, but to be honest, right now the Saitek throttle works fine as one.

Re: Want to see your setup
For my first post , some pics of the work in progress .
The cyclic "extender" is a bit too long (10cm-4") . All Hardware are attached with Velcro .
Next step , exept painting and sewing , will be a new rudder . Mechanical part is already finished . To do : electronic connection .
Hope you'll enjoy . See you soon in flight .

Re: Want to see your setup
I don't have drilled anythink . Just "clamped" the warthog's grip between two piece of steal . It's totally removable .
There will be no end ...
