An excellent night on the Caucasus coast, on Gizzy's Playtime map. Gizzy, Flubber, Cib, Blade, and myself Molevitch, enjoyed a few hours of troop insertions and gunship strafings just beyond the southern border post. I had a good time of formation flying, and only crashed once when I accidentally allowed DCS to lose focus with some accidental button press combo... excuses, I know.

I am really enjoying 229th's relaxed but serious approach to missions. The missions are well planned and setup, free of major script failings, and challenging without being tiresome.

And the crew are all a good laugh, the dry British combined with the sly European gags make teamwork at B coy all the more fun. Glad to be here!

And am I still only a lowly WOC?

Agreed I enjoyed last night but I was a bit all over the place with my flying. I need more stick time after my absence. With regard your Basic wings and corresponding award of WO1 I am around a lot more and am happy to get you certified if required

Well B Company we need to get together to practice flying and landing together in preparation for mission nights. Maybe we can put forward good times to get some practice in and get some of the guys MQ It will also benefit myself remembering to fly lead and keep it steady with gradual turns
I can probably manage early evening most week days for an hour at a time or possibly come November at weekends too

Cib, I am up for an hour of it most nights, subject to real life. My best times are 5-7, 9-12 GMT, but am flexible. Also, some afternoons 2-4. So pretty available!
Happy to practice tight formation in Hueys and Mi-8s slicks.

I‘m try to catch you guys during the week, i‘m mostly online from 6-11 UTC.

I will be online this evening from about 18.00 UTC I hope Olny can be there to finish his wings test and we as a company need to work on our landings in multi ship flights along with formation flying so lets try and incorporate that within a mission if Gizzy has something lined up or we pick one off the server tonight

There will be a mission this Thursday with a vietnam theme. Slicks and gunships, details will be announced presently. Also I can be around this evening for any training if people need. I will post when I can assign a specific time

I will be online 18.00 till 20.00 this evening for training if required or general flying if not required

Will be available for tasking on Thursday. Gunship if needed, equally happy to fly slick. Will be online from 7:00 PM UK time.

Hola sorry I have been quiet this week. The old dog died on Friday and its taken a bit of getting over. I am flying tonight and hope to see as many B co there as possible. If we have enough we will rerun a revised version of the Vietnam scenario

Well, I decided I needed to make a minor adjustment to the mechanism of my cyclic rig.... my Pit's in Bits! Spread all over the floor, and entirely non functional. But in a few days it will be a huge improvement. That is what they mean by a work in progress!

Very sorry to hear about your pet, Cib. Recently had to say bye to our cat and it's not easy. I am doing parent's evening tonight so cannot fly. Have fun wothout me.
