OvGME issue
While attempting to test a mod last night I encountered an issue with OvGME and/or the mod. Mod was the NVG mod for Mirage from the DCS user files section.
Once the JSGME ready mod was placed in the OvGME mods folder something broke.
Note: Mod was not activated just placed in the folder.
Symptoms- when I tried to open OvGME it would go on the task bar but I was unable to open the window to view it. Restart and/or removing the mod would not fix it.
Solution- complete uninstall of OvGME and reinstall it. Be sure mods are off, repair DCS, restart mods, and play.
Note: This occurs in stable and alpha. Since this however my 2.1 will crash to desktop everytime I exit a multiplayer server.

Blimey... @-@
Please bear in mind guys that some of us are not software guru's who are able to fix these issues! Last thing I want is a broken DCS an then be unable to effect a fix! This whole add on mods and integrity check system seems to be a nightmare!
Is their any way we can operate without the mods (wash ma mouth out with soap)... or find a simpler way of implimenting it? I had to remove the 229 mods folder from my 2.1 saved games folder as it was generating 'failed integrity' with other green badge servers.

OVGME is using a zipped file, just unzips it and places in the required folder.
If there is corruption of some thing, hassle can result, just as with JSGME... but if you know where the files are being placed they should be easily removed by hand...
If OVGME is showing in the taskbar and not showing in the screen that is Windows getting its knickers in a twist normallcaused by the app being dragged off screen or multi monitor use...
This will fix it if it happens again - Hold down SHIFT key and right click on a running program icon on the taskbar, a popup menu should appear, click on Move then use the Left/Right Arrow key to move it.

No. If you want to fly mission on the 229th servers that people have designed with MODS you have to have the MODS installed.
If you regularly fly servers with integrity check either 1 mouse click will enable or disble all MODS so whould not be a problem. If your PC is getting on a bit use the Advanced Install in the docs and only a few seconds will do the business as most will be in the saved games folder.
Shout if you have problems perhaps make a sched, install teamviewer and can will fix it for you direct.

Re: OvGME issue
Thanks Gizz. I like this program way better than JSGME. So far thats the only hiccup I've came across.
IJammer I can confirm with your mods disabled in OvGME you can pass the check. This by far is the best mod manager we have used to date.
