Guys, recently I disassembled the stick from my Warthog HOTAS, to replace the freaking factory grease, and wrote Thrustmaster to inquire about a calibration problem that followed. Well, they recommended using the device analyzer on the T.A.R.G.E.T. script editor (not the T.A.R.G.E.T. GUI) to check the status of calibration, but I guess many of you already know that. The surprise was that the sent me a link to download a little application, that I never saw anywhere else, just to calibrate the Stick, you run it, plug the stick, move it up, right, down, left, following the instructions, and then unplug it. Forget about the windows calibration, if you check on the device analyzer, this is way more precise, and it is permanent (until you mess with the hall sensor directly again, of course). This is probably the thing they use to set the units after they're built, it does not get any better than this. Thought to share, here goes the link:

Yeah, it's a good tool, I got it from them when a firmware update bricked my Warthog throttle.

Nice idea.

Strut, there is a .TXT that comes with the application, can you send it as well? Otherwise it just gets lost, I tried to use it with mine and now I completely screwed the Throttle axis.

Hehe....

Did exactly the same thing last night there D/H. Spent about an hour and a half trying to get it sorted out, and finally went to the ED site and got the file...

...all is well now in "BBallworld".

Kudos to Strut for helping try to sort it out last night in TS.
