my poor old stick is no more so i am looking to get a new one.  what do you guys use or recommend?

i did a have a madcatz fly5 stick but i found the tension to be really stiff. now flying around in a a-10 the tension is good but trying to make fine adjustments in a helicopter is really tough

I'm currently looking at the saitek x55. this stick comes with 4 different tension springs

Hi Gary...I use the X52 and it works fine...I would say the X55 would be better. There are better ones but for the price, you can't beat it.

TM warthog ! It is stiff but it feels damn good.

Warthog. Everything else feels like a damn play toy, but the one drawback with that is you will need rudder pedals to go with them.

Yep, what they said. The Warthog is pricey, but it's well worth every cent when you fly them side by side with other controllers.

i use a wheelchair so pedals are sadly out of the question which rules out the warthog. x55 is pre ordered and due to arrive april 4th!. also i have burning cliffs and the huey. april is going to be a fun month

Gary, the X55 will work fine for you...before I got my pedals I used the twist grip on my X52 and it does the job...you'll be kicking ass and taking names before you know it.

is it possible to assign the left throttle to collective? if so how on earth do i do it
