CIG have set the bar really high for themselves which is a good starting point. Reality will force them to make some compromises but as Strut says they have the economic freedom to try and develop things that the AAA gaming industry would never try.

I still stand by this project and look forward to seeing the final product one day. And further, unlike the instant-gratification types who whine about these sought of things, I am willing to wait for it.

I must admit I am too scared to post on there, because I have seen the most innocent of comments get a person mauled!

Retaliator Sale - for those that are interested - not this little black duck...........!!!!!!

Im a bit worn out by all the selling and not the seeing !!

I melted down my old Retaliator and bought a new one with the two torpedo modules. Not sure that I am going to keep it as a bomber, I just wanted to buy back the same ship for now. My old ship had 6 month insurance, the new one has life time on the ship and 2 year on the modules. Might pick up some other modules before the sale ends if any one has any recommendations?

Hmm, well if you did want to get something else maybe you should consider these two modules:
1. Cargo Module.
2. Dropship Module.

I traded in my merlin for a rear cargo module.  I like the droop ship module, but it's a lot of money for something that I am not sure I will use a lot.  Also it requires the front module which makes up 2/3 of my missiles.

That sounds sensible.

To me the Retailator seems an awkward troop carrier. Further, with that rear cargo module you can carry a bit of cargo and 4 torpedos at the same time. The latter strikes me as a good default setup for the Retailator.
