...and what do you get?
…tons of fun!
I awoke far too early this morning still having my ass kicked from 12 days in the Orient. Home only three days, lots of turkey yesterday, and NOT enough beer last night will do that
to a man. A billion cups of coffee later, I found myself in a random MP server, and who stumbles through the swinging door? A brother “229th-er”!
Nef and I quickly met in TS, I threw up a mission (my old trusty “Ass and Trash” one), and away we went!
==========
Nef likes to fly what we call “Navy loose formation”. In other words…tight.
==========
The mission; 8 landings in various LZs (and a ship). This is the approach to #2.
==========
We’ve landed at #3 (rooftop), and are enroute tracking an NDB station…hey, why not get some ADF work in while we’re at it, right?
==========
“LZ #4”…The U.S.S. Lewis B. Puller…they welcomed us aboard like we were carrying naked women and beer (we weren’t).
==========
We’ve hit one more LZ, stopped at Anapa for fuel (and a piss break), and are enroute to our last stop before home. BTW…if this pic doesn’t make you love the Huey…well then, you need to have yourself checked!
==========
The approach to LZ Yoda.
==========
For fun, when we got back to Krymsk, we decided to end the mission with a bit of auto-rotation practice. Nef “auto-ed” like a pro, me not so much. My plan is to bribe the crew chief with a quart of Jack Daniels to replace the tail rotor and NOT tell the rest of you yokels….oh, wait.
==========
All in all, a great time this morning! What a way to cure jet-lag! Oh, and Nef says he hasn’t taken his basic wings checkride yet…I totally couldn’t tell. Those “B” blokes can fly!
Have a great day all!

Nice pics, you should look up the mods that we're using in C Coy, they sure make DCS look a little prettier... link

The beauty of them being in JSGME format is that if they disagree with your system, or you just don't like them, they can be disabled with a single click.
I personally haven't seen any FPS hit with any except the HDR package, and that was minimal.
If you need any help with JSGME, just let me know.
