B Company pilots meeting 5th May 2016
Hey all, to start my new post I hoped we could engage in some dialogue with regards to taking the Company forward. I have certain views on the way to grow the roster and to add some diversity to the scenario's we fly.
Given that it is difficult to suit all with regards getting all together on TS I suggest we go with 5th may at 20.00 hours GMT we can hopefully come up with some discussion points that can be posted in a thread for anyone who cannot make the meeting to comment on
Hope you can make it and bring your thinking caps.

Not sure I can be there (let's say 40% chances). I will try to send a few comments before the meeting.

Re: B Company pilots meeting 5th May 2016
Here are a list of topics I would like to discuss tonight to give you a bit of a starting point
Don't be shy tonight with any views and opinions that will help to create a successful and enjoyable company of bad ass chopper pilots
- A virtual deployment of B Co. to support a NATO stabilization force acting on a UN mandate to provide a framework for a cessation of violence in the region. Which airport we use is initially down to you guys but I had thought Batumi might be a nice base. The fictional deployment will be set in the 70's and hopefully we can add a recon element to the deployment when ED gets the Gazelle into 1.5.
I hope this deployment can play out like a dynamic campaign with a template that we will create that can be added to and played/flown every 2 weeks. What would be good is a group of you to take turns preparing the mission for the following session so we can spread the work load and also take turns to lead the mission.
Also have the option of getting some redfor players with CA to add another element of surprise/dynamism to the campaign.
If the missions we create are any good we can sell them to Charlie and Alpha to play in their time zones too. A case of beer per mission should keep the company fridge stocked up
Invite D company to provide Firesupport
Organise regular open nights (once a month) for new pilots to come along and get a flavour of what we do so we can maybe swell the ranks and train up replacement pilots

Re: B Company pilots meeting 5th May 2016
Hey all, just to keep you updated there where discussions last night with regards to what we would like to do as a helicopter company.
First off I persuaded Flick to create a template as the basis of our deployment with NATO. We will run a mission every 2 weeks on a day to be decided on and attempt to create a dynamic campaign style scenario with a believable story line and a realistic enemy.
Hopefully we can get volunteers to come up with scenarios and either set it up with the template or post your suggestions and hope the mission making team (Flick) can do it justice.
Another suggestion discussed was to host an open night for B company on an unpassworded server possibly hosted by a B company member to help with recruitment. Discussions ongoing on this.
Also discussed the possibility of some PVP by inviting another company from 229th or an outside squadron/group to play aggressor using CA
We have had 3 new members join in the last couple of days so hopefully you will all meet on TS over the course of the next week or so and of course I know you will all help them fit in
I will be definately on TS Tuesday evening for a good session so catch me then or post if you want to know anything else
Happy flying chaps
