Thursday 2000 +:           Basic Missions
Sunday evening - More complex Missions - content, briefing & times announced in advance.

B Company Training - THU 10th March

1900z 'Cibs Technicals' The first instalment of Cib's 'Practcal Navigation in DCS' Good practical stuff covering the Uh-1H & VFR, IFR ADF and much more'  Boy do I need it a great Cib initiative!

2030z (approx) Mission, full briefing, with Intel, Charts, Overflight Images etc.  Roles, Slicks, Gunships, Flt Leads, Air Mission Commander - attendance permitting of course, but the cloth will be cut to size.  Nothing to complicated or hard for this first Company Mission which will be designed to introduce role co-ordination within the mission.

If you can attend, post on this thread, if you cant then thats cool - no need to post though ... keeps the website cleaner

Couple of requirements that occured:-
Anyone attending needs paper and pencil for jotting co-ords and freqs.

Gizzy can we organise a map with no wind please. Don't want to cover drift angle on the first day

Thanks Cib, for coming up with this, it was interesting and sets the basics for future development and mission inclusion. I think it was enjoyed by all that attended.

And of course Xtra kept things 'right' and initiated a simplistic demonstration of using the basic navigation techniques in a simple mission scenario followed by a clatter of controlled low speed circuits and landings out in the 'sticks' (a local colloquialism) It was good to have the IP pointing out the errors, now we just have to practice.

Numbers dwindled and no mention of the mission I had posted up was made so it was pretty rubbish or not read haha

I've 'cut' it for later use maybe.

Cibs already working on part 2 as we speak in between feeding the young 'uns.
