Who is B Coy?
Pilots come and go, take breaks, move on, so, currently who are we, B Company?


Using 1st AirCav web presence log-on 2016 date stamps as a measure, B Company is 25 in number.

3 are Senior Rated Aviators
8 are Rated Aviators
14 not rated

We all have different aspirations in our virtual world and not all want to fly as a unit either for training or operations and this must be respected.  However, as in just about everywhere in life, this familiar adage holds true: “You only get out what you put in.”

B COMPANY
Where are we going?

We? You may ask, after mentioning that we all have different aspirations and probably directions.  

1st Air Cav is an umbrella organisation, an association of like minded souls embracing and facilitating all things rotary within the DCS world.  B Company is the umbrella for Europe.

So it could be argued that B Company is going nowhere, it is just there, a facilitative offspring from the virtual mother hen, 1st Air Calvary, 229th AHB.


Some pilots want to fly in shared airspace on the 229th servers
Some pilots want to fly together as a group.
Some pilots want to fly tactically as a group.
Some pilots want to fly as a group in combined arms warfare servers.
Some pilots just want to do their own thing...

For all bar the last of these activities, to be effective you need to set a standard of competence, just like RL, hence the WINGS awards & 229th SOP’s.

Consequently, everyone is encouraged to achieve the basic standard of ‘Rated Aviator’ and later progress as far as desired in expertise.

A simplistic survey on B Company Training was openly published and PM’ed to all in B COMPANY.  It is now closed.

Gizzy, nice work, thank you for your free time doing this. i appreciate this as a member of the Bravo Company.

now i'm back working in the office, so i hope to fly again a little bit more here with you guys.
the sim is doing well and i hope that my skills are at a point that i can earn my first wings
