Aw, come on Nef, grab a healthy, delicious, mouth watering high cuisine McD's early instead... your experience & wit is missed...

My dear Gizzy, my experience and wit dictates me that I should beware of the wife's back-kick in the nose. But I'll try.
Just look at what she's done to the cat... -------------------------------------------->

Great. I'll be there. Unfortunately only for the first half hour or so, but hopefully there will be more chances.

I will be on from 17.00 GMT to make sure everyone has the correct uniform and all buttons are done up and your boots are shined to a mirror finish

Re: B Company Training Feb 25th
Thursday evening saw B Company turning out in force over the course of the evening.
A rough glance of TeamSpeak showed 15 at one point not taking into account those who had to leave earlier and those who arrived later, and of course we were also entertaining some guests from HQ and A Coy.
From my perspective it seemed to run Okay, ‘ish but then I’m a bit critical. People were a bit unsure of content, procedure and timings a little so I sort of jumped in and organised things a bit. Need to look at those thing for the next one.
Questions regarding WINGS were taken and congratulations to HeadOn for undertaking his Basic Aviator Wings and subsequent promotion.
Hawkeye took the initiative with some formation landing mentoring an unruly rabble impatiently awaiting some action whilst HeadOn was check flighted.
They calmed a little when Xtra started explaining the basics of tactical terrain flying and led a demonstration formation of about 10 Hueys and 1 Mi8 putting his tactics into practice. Up and over ridges, gullies (Draws for A Coy and probably ‘Big Ditch’ for C Coy) hills and valleys. It was a blast!
The formation standard for the first 45 minutes was good and tight, remarkable, but as time went over the hour mark, the concentration strain took hold for some and things went a bit to rat shite to coin a local phrase... LOL.
Of course Xtra had to finish with a collective Auto-rotation and my ears are still ringing from receiving Almighty’s mirth
A big ‘Thank you to Xtra, SIX and Hawkeye for their time, instruction and mentoring.
For those who engaged, tutored or just listened on the sidelines please use this Anonymous AAFF to help us improve things. I will also send a PM to those names I can recall with the same link.

In fact "spurs, spur lines, re-entrants , spot heights, features" if you want to be pedantic

Video part 1 of Xtra's terrain flying training
I find it hard to absorb too much info when formation flying so useful to have it here to listen again.
Also for the eagle eyed I forgot my radar altimeter
