I once had an F/O (female type...ex-Air Force Academy) ask me what I was looking for as I craned my head around trying to locate the island. I said, "Iwo Jima"....her response..."Why?". Needless to say, we had about an hour and a half left in our flight from Guam to Nagoya, so she received an impromptu "history lesson" on why Iwo is relevant, important, and will ALWAYS be hallowed ground for any (sane) citizen of the United States. God bless the United States Marine Corps (I always get the chills when I fly by it...)

Well the indications are good and I am excited at the prospect.
The first campaign I did with the Aussie WWII sim group which I fly with on weeknights was a Pacific USMC campaign in Corsairs using the IL-2 1946 sim. It was a blast and I hope I can do something similar again but this time with DCS.
