Holy guacamole!
Looks like these boys are planning HUGE things (and I guess they've expanded their team to 30 people...so it seems they might become a big player in the DCS thing).

Re: DCS VEAO News
Just need a Mirage III, Super Entard and a Vulcan and the Falklands is all set
My only reservation is how long they may take... I'm slightly bothered that they're calling 'dibs' on a bunch of airframes that I really want!
See here ---> Raffale Schedule

Re: DCS VEAO News
Yeah, and that's 4-5 years before it gets a place in the schedule... Add the time it takes to actually make it and we're probably closer to 6-7 years!

Re: DCS VEAO News
Thats a long time and in this "world" a lot of changes happen that a lot of "Projects" dont get fulfilled. Its a bit like saying im gunna win lotto in 5 years. But i rekon we will have a lot of new sims coming our way anyway. And once again if you think you can speculate in this game you may as well go to the race course. Maybe by that time Dave might learn to fly .......

Re: DCS VEAO News
Yeah....I'm excited about all the birds on the list that excite me (MAN what a wordsmith I am!)....but I'm taking it all with a rather large grain of salt.
Truth be told, the thought of new maps has me as jazzed as the new machines.
We'll see. As we say in the airline industry...."I'll believe it when my ass is strapped in it!"

Re: DCS VEAO News
It's also getting to the point where if all these come out, we're going to end up in an FSX type of scenario where there are so many aircraft to choose from that we'll be picking and choosing which ones to buy rather than the current 'shut up and take my money' scenario that we're in today... and that's a good and a bad thing as we all have our favourites...
The one thing that I am rally happy about is that ED are keeping a tight reign on the quality of the modules.

Re: DCS VEAO News
I am with you guys, if they keep quality up, then I am happy with whatever they bring out. Having a flightsim the has tons of aircraft that spreads over 50 years of time would be great. Although I dread the day when I see 6 dollar Abacus modules for DCS.
