From the Belsimtek website.....

Note the words "was a long time since we pleased our helicopter enthusiasts, and ourselves as developers, by a war machine with rotor dynamics."  cheers  maybe we may get it this year.... Gunship guys, pull your fingers out those who were looking at the Mi-8 and Ka50.... that knowledge can soon be put to good use, hopefully....

Mi-24 and F-4E Dual cockpit hopefully too and maybe also added to the Huey and Hip...?  Hmmmmm

@TRIP start tearing down the rig Trip, time to make another new one Smile Smile

Belsimtek activity in 2017

After release of Tiger and Magnificent Eight at the end of 2016 almost all our effort was relayed to development of F/A-18 DCS module in cooperation with Eagle Dynamics. In this project we are handling dynamics, avionics and systems, FCS (Flight Control System) included.

In parallel we continue our work on exciting project for fans of combat helicopters - the attack helicopter Mi-24P (was a long time since we pleased our helicopter enthusiasts, and ourselves as developers, by a war machine with rotor dynamics).

Also we started development of the famous fighter-bomber F-4E.

We are planning to post updates about each project in future.

Wish you to have a great time learning available DCS World modules and hope you will like quality of the upcoming ones.

With respect,
Belsimtek Team.

I knew that would keep you happy...... The Phantom, the Hornet, the Harrier, the Su-33 update all carrier based, not hard to see where this fork is going.....

This is exciting stuff. I would love a western attack helicopter, but there's something about the Hind that everyone gets excited about...almost like the Me-109 of helicopters.

I'm curious, just read that the F-4E was the integrated gun variant, but was used by the USAF. Did the Navy ever get a variant with integrated gun? I'm hoping this variant will indeed be carrier based. I've seen F-4Es with the arresting hook, but I'm not sure if the USAF stripped other stuff off that would make them unable to land on a carrier.

LMAO that's the way it goes!  Fortunately my sim platform is built to be modular so I only need to pull off the Huey cockpit and set it aside. =D  In all honesty I won't be building a Hind cockpit unless it's archaic the way I like, with not too much technology to ruin the fun! I'm actually more likely to do a Hip if I do another heli cockpit.

I do look forward to a complex Russian startup routine, that makes me want to build a cockpit.  I wish the Huey startup wasn't so simple!
