I look forward to flying with some of you
I havent flown with a squadron in almost 8 years since my old squadron moved onto better things, so Ive just been hanging out at LockonFiles since. Ive a few hours in the Huey and I know how to fly it, but I usually dont fly online. That could change if the environment is friendly enough.
Anyone asks, Im based in the US.

Hi Hitman...Thanks for your interest in the 1st Cav. I think you will like flying with us. The environment is very friendly and we are all like-minded individuals. What was your old virtual unit called? I use to be part of the USAV about 8 years ago so we might know each other. Please tell us more about yourself so we can get to know you take a look at some of the others so you can get to know us. One of the command officers will walk you through processing pretty soon so hang it there. I look forward to flying with you.

Used to fly with the 214th Annihilators back in the days of Flanker 2.5/LOMAC. Since Flaming Cliffs 1 came out, been out on my own avoiding online flights, flew online with 3sqn pilots now and then. Now I just either fly FSX or DCS, and lately its been the Huey. So far have about 35-40 flight hours in the thing.

Heres a question I havent found an answer to: since the Huey is a crew served vehicle, is Belsimtek going to add crew positions for multiplayer, or is it going to be strictly a single player aircraft?

My understanding is that they will have multiple crew positions like FSX. That's how I intend to train. I have real world UH-1H experience and I intend to pass it on to those who need help. Once I can get into a cockpit with a member I can see what they are doing and help correct their mistakes and help them to fly the DCS Huey better.

Ok, I registered for that squad. I will be honest though, Im not really planning on flying much until ED fixes 1.2.5 to acceptable standards. Ive noticed since 1.2.5 came out, the trim function doesnt register any minor trim inputs, and it feels all floppy now. I might just roll back to 1.2.4 if I can find the older installs on my thumb drive somewhere.

Do yall have any servers flying any missions at the moment? Or do you all just hop on a teamspeak server and join another squadron mission online?
