I'm Al and I saw the article on Facebook about joining up, so here I am. I'm looking a a group of rotor jocks to fly with in a mostly chilled environment that promotes respect for all, quality learning and a virtual community enjoyment. I'm ex British Military myself Airborne so I don't get hung up on rank as I held a real rank on ops of Sergeant Major. I am now working for a global consultancy but always find time to get some hours in. I regulary fly gazelle as that was the cab I mostly worked with when I was serving. However I have recently purchased the UH-1 cab and enjoy it's challenges!.

I'm relatively new to DCS and fly VR for the added realism and immersion and have flown gazelle and UH-1.

A little bit about me; I spent 22 years in the UK military as a Weapons Artificer and had an opportunity to serve with a number of aviation units starting with 3 Commando Brigade Air Squadron, we flew Gazelle, Lynx and Commando variants of the Seaking since then I've fell in love with helicopters how they beat the air into submission. I also worked with our Apache squadrons on operations over th years and Chinook.

If, after your considerations, you'd feel like I'd be a good fit around here I'd be happy to check ride with you guys!

Yes afaik the 229th required mods should all work in 2.5 stable and 2.5.1 openbeta (what we use). When game updates come around we sometimes have to tweak our missions to account for a broken object here and there.
