My name is Valentin, I'm 18 YO French man who felt in love with aviation, particularly rotary wing as soon as I was born ...

Hueyman is my username everywhere since the early beginning, because I consider myself like a true Huey lover, like you guys... it's sound, it's shape, it's shakes, it's rotorhead geometry as well as his myth just seduced me many years ago... since, I can't love anything as much as this one.

I'm PPL(A) with merely 110 hours on light aircrafts, and will attempt the ALAT test ( French army, they got the most of our choppers ) in September, it's my most wanted wish to become a military pilot in our army.

Concerning my PC sim background, I mainly fly under X-Plane 10 clean skies, and flew a lot on IL-2 and DCS Blackshark 1 years ago. Sadly, as my poor laptop was weak and keep loosing power as years passes, I'm no longer able to play such great simulations... until now, been saving for two years for buying a hardcore PC, taking my revenge !

Here is a summary of my specs :

I7 3970X, GTX TITAN AMP! Edition 6GO, 32GB Trident 2400 MHz, ROG Rampage IV Extreme MoBo, Intel SSD, Logitech Z906 sound system, VG278 27" 144Hz screen, Thrustmaster Hotas Warthog ( long stick mod ) and Saitek Combat Pedals, Track IR v5...

I'm slowly receiving all those shipments everyday, and is starting the built tomorrow. I hope to have decent results with max settings on any sim today ( DCS, X-Plane, IL-2 CoD, Silent Hunter V, ArmA III etc ... ) and be able to spend great times with you guys once on the net ! I'm not comfortable at all with spoken English yet but I hope to improve my skills with you guys, I'm impatient as hell ;-)

But sorry, I never flew online on DCS yet, must be someone other ...

Me too am looking forward to do so, training flights of two ships clodely in formation ... mmm ;-)

Oh yeah and I forgot the most important IMO ...

I'm fond of the Vietnam War, and it's era... I really wish I was born and grew up during those times. It's a strange feeling as I feel nostalgic of those times I never knew ... the good music, the good way of life, people seemed less crazy, I mean more " natural " than now ( always connected to some electronic devices )... Watched every movie I could about that conflict, and one of my longest dream is to go on a trip to Viêt-Nam nowadays, sightseeing in the deep green hell, go on the foot steps of the Viet Vets'...

So, what I want the most to come in DCS is a Vietnam environment, don't really know what is new regarding EDGE : Vietnam but hope such things will see the sun one day, hopefully sooner than later...
