I can only supply it virtually...my Mi-8 is full with Toblerone.

Edit: About Thursday....it will depend on the time but I think I should be able to show up. It also slightly depends if there will be another excercise with Gizzy/Molevitch or not. Actually I'm still on the "learning the basics trip", so I most probably won't join real missions yet.

You will learn more tagging along mate, you are not expected to be the best pilot in the world, come have fun and learn as you go. We can get down to specifics and get you through your basic wings on quiet evenings but please try to make Thursday I am sure you will have fun

I'll try. However, I already flew Sunday, yesterday and I have another flight next Sunday. So now it's also Thursday...you see where this leads to? ;-) I also need time for other stuff. Anyway, we'll see how it will work. Sometimes it's also a language problem. Therefore it's pretty good to practice with Gizzy and Co. because I'm already used to their accent and speech. Can you tell me what time or where I have to check for future missions (again, I did not yet browse the page enough....Ill have a closer look at it this evening).

Gizzy, are you sure about the your "ultimate-no-sorrow-BSD-mod-package"? When I was testing out SR with Six (not sure about the name), I wasn't able to join until he restarted the server in "no-mod" mode. Maybe it was also because I had a few other mods (Huey black pit and sound) enabled. It wouldn't be fun to join on Thursday to find out that it's not working with your mod.

Simple test... DCS server - join 1.5xxx 229th server with open world in the title.



If you join okay then you are good.... if not allowed to join then there is an issue so...

read this link... https://1stcavdiv.forumotion.net/t2786-229th-required-mods-stable-openalpha follow the instructions and replace your saved games mods....  The original BSD ones were compatible as I wrote them both... maybe something changed that end.

Thank you. I had a short look at the member list yesterday and I saw that we aren't that many of "us". Must be because of our neutrality ;-) Just wondering, German, French or Italian speaking part?

I would have had my "introduction mission/flight" today but it I had some strange, short connection interruptions which resulted in disconnects from server and SR...I gave up after the 4th or 5th disconnection

I'm from the German speaking part, which part are you from?

Interestingly, it only disconnected me once from Teamspeak. However, earlier that day, I also had a disco within Steam. So it obviously was not a DCS problem. I simply sent a mail to my ISP and asked if they're aware of some issues....
