Hello Guys,

Im a 40 year old father from Wisconsin. I have loved Hueys my entire life. My father flew with the 191st Bounty hunters and Boomerangs. So I have been around it my whole life. I have just purchased the dcs huey and cant believe how accurate this is! I would love to learn how to fly with you guys! Formation flying is my absolute favorite thing to do in gunship 3 lol. Excited to learn on a more accurate platform. I have been flying for around two hours the log says and two deaths and 14 landings. Hope that gets me in.

Hey Boomarang, welcome! I'm really a fan of formation flying too so I'll be very happy to join you in that whenever possible. I'm pretty green myself and looking forward to starting proper training in the next week or two.

Someone with more knowledge and authority will come by soon and take care of you. =D

Hi Boomerang...

Welcome to the 229th... Wisconsin puts you in 'A' Coy.... Go to the top menu, select 'usergroups' and then select and join 'A' company...

That gets the ball rolling, a bell wakes someone up in 'A' who pushes a few buttons, comes back and shows you what's what.. then you're sorted..

Hey Boomarang,

WELCOME! Great bunch of guys here...you'll learn a lot, and have a ton of fun at the same time.

BTW...where in the "Badger State" are you located? I'm over in the western part, just south of St. Croix Falls.

Looking forward to flying with ya!

Hello Boomerang, welcome aboard. Your dad might be interested to know that the Huey I currently work and fly on was assigned to the 191st Boomerangs (Boomerangs always come back) with over 1200 hrs logged in VN. The tail number is 68-16104. Maybe he remembers flying on our bird. Take care, Comanchero

Comanchero,

I looked up the tail number. Good stuff! thank you so much for sharing! My father got a kick out of it. Im going to share to the 191st Facebook page and see if I can get some of those guys flying in here. As for me I have logged 9 hrs. 133 Landings and 22 crashes. score is a 301 but really do not know what that means. I am really new to gaming and trying to keep up. I have removed the spring from my Logitech freedom 2.4 and have had to learn how to hover again. Looking forward to flying with you guys. I see in multiplayer 229th activity but need a password to get in. Am I doing it wrong?

Hi Boomarang =) Welcome to A/Co I love to fly formation. Can't wait to get in the air. However, I am waiting for my new pedals to get here. The MFG crosswinds. They will ship in 3-5 days and be here 5-10 days after that. So, within the next month, I hope we can get some formation flying in.
