Re: 229th training programme trial
Filled in, Cib. I left a lot blank because deep down I really need the extra training. A lot of procedures/actions have slipped my mind. Can all non-staff members access the database to see where we're at?

Re: 229th training programme trial
I thought I filled it out pretty soon after it was posted up - can you tell if that worked? There didn't seem to be a save or submit option, so I assumed it wrote it in 'live', so to speak.
Or to Razor's question: can I check myself?

Re: 229th training programme trial
Razor yours has registered. Ivan there is a confirm and then a submit. 2 stage entry which can be confusing
The spreadsheet is here https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1duDmmrvKTkhINTheEzMBk0wJ8iTsNNpnJjfFf4TDtoo/edit#gid=183012427 though it is WIP. It is very useful and I can see to book an IP to cover 6.2.5 to 7.2.7 which covers traffic patterns and VMC approach and associated tasks. The whole purpose of the tool is identify where people need training and have a cohesive way of delivering what is required. I know Gizzy and Xtra have devoted a large chunk of time to develop this and it is something that will hopefully lead to standardisation across the Battalion and add to our enjoyment when everyone in the flight has had the same training to the same standards. Hell we might even get to do an Airshow

The form and spreadsheet are currently a 'proof of concept' intended for a closed trial but Web permissions didn't happen.
I will developed them further and embed them within a training specific web page (subject to Google limitations) to make them more user friendly when I get back to NI and permissions are maybe sorted ÷ so feel free to criticise!!

Re: 229th training programme trial
Heres just an idea of how the data can be displayed.
Currently it is just 'proof of concept'
In reality it need to be locked down in the web to stop page scrolling about when you click on a control in the report....
or just use the direct link here.... you cant break it...

Re: 229th training programme trial
Like most people (*cough*), I "lied on my CV" when I first completed the self assessment and made out I'm more qualified than I am. Just now I tried filling it out more accurately, but it looks like it creates a new record rather than overwriting the original? If so, can you delete my records so I can do it again properly?
