229th training programme.
All.
We would like to introduce the new training programme we will start to be using within the 229th.
The official trial with member progression tracking will be done by B coy, but the general lay-out can already be used by any Coy cmd and/or IP to start to train with. All A,C and D Coy can now also use the self assesment tool: 229th Self assesment tool
You as an active member of the 229th will be required to fill in a self assesment logging to to keep track of your individual progression within the programme.
Once you have determined which tasks you need to train on, you can either post a training request with the respective task number or sign in on pre determined training flights.
In the coming weeks, we will continue with introducing the programme battalion wide and might observe changes with the emblems and qualifications from our members.

Re: 229th training programme.
I like this idea. I don't get to fly much, but a well-made self-assessment tool will give me the hard look I need to really figure out where I need to improve. Then I'll know exactly what to ask.

Be advised, dropbox is still syncronising. Once you see the document without the draft watermark in the left top corner you have the correct version!

Re: 229th training programme.
Master wings will now be available again. Now we need to see were everybody is in the program itself and see who fullfill the pre requisites

Re: 229th training programme.
How about setting up something like ASA flash cards for a prequalification requisite?

Re: 229th training programme.
Master wings was waiting on instruments which was waiting on shared cockpits. I would like master wings to focus on more one night/NVG operations and more mission task. But the master wings still need to be discussed. flash cards would not be a bad idea. I am reviewing the 229th training documents that extra uploaded. I will note that flight commanders terminology needs to be replaced with AMC or air mission commanders.
