Interesting...So he suggested turning the SAS switch to the off position when maneuvering due to the friction created by the SAS system...tried that on an approach the other day and got a little squirrely IGE...am I understanding that correctly???

Hard accent to follow isn't it.

I believe he was saying it was best to not use the (force) trim when maneuvering.....difficult to overcome. But always leave the SAS on.
