Just had an email about the modules being on sale from 1500 zulu today. Big discounts too!
I only have the huey right now, anyone recommend any of the modules that are must haves?

Im a DCS nut Froggy, i have them all, i love the Mi-8 and the WW2 planes !

The A-10C is a must, if you have a bunch of time ahead.

I have purchased more than I can keep on top of. My suggestion would be to think hard about what aircraft you REALLY like and what type of flying you REALLY like.

Knowing I'm no good at A2A I'll be sticking to ground attack and helicopters from now on. I'll buy fast jets but only if they have a good mud moving capability. AV8B, F/A18 etc.

Buy a few and learn them well.

The A-10C is a superbly modelled, complicated and rewarding aircraft to master, however you really need a Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS if you want to get the best out of her.

The KA-50 is also a very detailed module that is often overlooked, and you'd think it would be more popular as it's the only real gunship that we have.

Ultimately though you should stick to what attracts your personal taste as that is where you'll have the most fun.

I'd have to backup Kiwi on this one, there will always be another sale. I have almost all of them and cant keep current on anything at the moment if your in helicopter mode then BS2 or the Mi8 is the way to go, but the A10C is at the top of the ground pounding kick ass tree in my book even if you just take the GUN.

Shadowdog, you sir, are a wizard. That's exactly what I got. I've always preferred rotary wing to fixed but I love the warthog, so I've got A10C, BS2, and Mi8 before I saw your post.

I'm considering a hotas warthog, but I really like my cougar with broken gimbals for helos so I'm going to stick with that for now.

No worries mate, I'm sure you will enjoy the challenge as we all do and if it works stick with it one day the gear will give up the ghost then you will have some decisions to make but until then keep on flying.
