All good Shahdow, we are just a bit quiet at the moment, id say theres a couple of us with some posts yet to come. It will get busier again. Also thanks for the Tbilisi vid, i have been quietly flying it but the times are not so good for publication just yet

hi Shahdoh, like Strut said its just been a quiet week, the guys are probably off practising, trying to go sub 170sec.
Not sure if the Huey has the same appeal as the Mustang for time trials, but we'll probably give it a go anyway.
Thanks for putting these together, do you have plans to make any more?

Can understand about the Huey, especially on a big track like Batumi, not as much fun, but the Tbilisi track is ALOT different, is about 1/3 the size over rolling terrain with an alt limit at the gates of only 200ft. It is more suited for the huey.
As far as new tracks go, always working on something and looking to improve the lua code used for tracking. My next mission release will have multiple tracks on it and allow multiple aircraft on the course at the same time. 1 I am working on right now is a canyon run that if you fly under bridges, you will get time bonuses.

Just checked out the VA's Server... and my 2nd flight went OK with a 173.17
Then I went for a 3rd in the same A/C..... Changed fuel tanks... Cooled it down at 8ooo' & dove in....
I was rounding the 14th Pylon (with BETTER times than the 173.17) & looked at my Temp's... "Ohhh this is gonna be close If I make it" ) & at the 15th Pylon..... Sputter...Sputter..... CLUNK !
Crap !
Poor old Mr Hoover won't be pleased!

Nice run Hawkeye! Yeah, 3 trips on the same Mustang when you are pushing it that hard is rather risky. I'll normally do 2 at most, but generally like running in with a fresh aircraft each time.
As you are learning, taking the Mustang through the course is all about maintaining as much energy as possible. Try not to give any away as it is energy you can not make back up. Turns to wide, time lost, throttle back to make a turn, time lost (use a touch of flaps instead), failure to maintain the proper trims, time lost. Just a few mph loss can be a significant amount of time.
