 I see you have been enjoying my Batumi time trial challenge. Your times are coming along nicely, thought I would give you a new target to shoot for:



Yes, WEP is used for the whole run, entry speed is right at/near max (before parts start falling off). The rest is engine/prop management and keeping the aircraft trimmed clean throughout the flight.

As far as I have seen, only about 4-5 people have gotten below the 170 mark. Before you think/say its impossible, I can assure you through smooth flying and proper management of the full realism setting SIM mode, it is indeed posible. Can provide video of the track if you wish.

i fly with shahdoh alot and he has got even faster than that there is only i think 4 or 5 people in the 160 range

Ok, quick throw together of the run, pilots perspective. And yes, I have a 162 and change time, but didn't post that because its with different race coding that what you all are using. On the Virtual Aerobatics server, I have code that allows for tracking of multiple aircraft on the course at the same time, but had to change the trigger areas slightly. So, is kind of Apples and oranges, thus the reason I loaded the older mission using the same code/trigger areas that you all are.

On another note, have you all tried flying the Huey through the Tbilisi 2013 course? Its a much smaller course and you have to stay under 200 AGL over rolling terrain. I am sure you helo guys could destroy my huey times there!  heheh

Shahdoh thanks very much for posting your vid and comments here, the Huey aspect is also a good idea. And will endeavor to get on the VA server.

Hopefully I didn't scare anyone off, I love seeing people posting their times getting faster and faster.  When I created the course, I ran into several plateaus as far as times go, thinking it was not possible to go faster. But either through watching others or trying things myself, I found ways to go faster. For this reason, I posted that time, to show that there are ways to get it faster and through practice and experimentation you can get there too.
