Hey guys, have stumbled on your community as my interest for DCS: Huey has grown. The fact you are structured like the 229th is just awesome, my favorite book is "To the Limit", by Tom Johnson. He flew in the A/229th on a Vietnam tour from '67-'68. I find the huey to be the DCS module I cannot put down. I fly every other module (minus Mi8 and P-51). Flight sims and myself go waaaay back, to when i was only 8 or 9 working towards my PPL on FS2004. Name a sim and i've probably flown it, or at least have tried to. It would be great to improve my skills with the huey (im mediocre, can do everything but not as smooth as I would like) and generally have a nice group to fly with. I'm 18 and live in Langhorne, Pennsylvania. Look forward to flying with you all!

Sounds good! Are there designated hours for this, or is it whenever an instructor is available? Right now im available Friday night, Saturday morning until 3 (gotta work), and I am not sure about Sunday.

I'm usually available on Friday nights between 1700 EST until around 0100 Saturday morning and then again from 1500 Saturday afternoon until around 0100 Sunday morning.  Just go to the Flight School Ops room on the Team Speak site and I'll know you're there for training and/or check ride.  Be patient if I take a while to see you.  I can't be on continuously due to family obligations but when I see you, I'll make contact. You can also get with GunfighterSix (Battalion Standards Officer) or Xtra (Attack Company IP) as well, both can be found on Team Speak.
