Ape of the Year, a very competent and well known CLOD pilot, has created a series of tutorial videos for Cliffs of Dover.  Here is a good video that incorporates a series of tips regarding engagements with English aircraft.  It is 20 minutes but worth the time to see how a competent pilot can make the 109 a deadly machine.  He has other videos on his channel for your viewing pleasure.
