Anyone heard of this? This is a cool lookin' VTOL. It looks like they took a UH-60 Blackhawk and morphed it with a V-22 Osprey. I'd love to see DCS model an Osprey or one of these.

Hi Phantom...because I'm in school for my Aerospace engineering degree, I have the opportunity to work with the lead engineer for the initial V-22. He was just telling us about this new VTOL aircraft that Bell is now designing and was explaining the differences in the new aircraft. He was telling us about it but I have never seen it until now. I envy the current Army pilots like Six who could very likely transition to this awesome aircraft

Very cool! I know the Blackhawk is a Sikorsky aircraft but it looks like they cut the fuselage of a Blackhawk and morphed it with a V-22 Osprey. That thing looks fast. I hope to eventually see some sort of aircraft like this in DCS. This could be fun to fly. I still love my Huey though. I can't imagine flying with out a collective and a cyclic.   

I won't fly that shit, I will leave the Army first, like most Army pilots. Sikorsky has a better aircraft in the pipe. Let the Marines kill them self's with a tilt rotors.

Lol. Maybe in 20 years when that thing comes out Tilt rotors will be better. I will try to hold off judgment until then.

These tilt rotors make me uncomfortable, I still clamber out of Huey's at my job. I'd rather ride that old beast to battle any day! Tilt rotors are for civilians!
