Hello everyone and greetings!  This sounds like a great organization surrounding itself around one of the best modules released for the DCS series.  

I have been an avid flight simmer since the late 90's which includes: Janes Longbow II, Janes F/A-18, Falcon 4 and all of its different versions, FS9, FSX, IL2 and its variations as well, EECH, Rise of Flight, and the line of ED sims starting with LOMAC up until the latest DCS World.  I previously participated with a LAN group for a few years called "The Buddyboys," aka the 100thAFW and we met on a monthly basis which involved flying various sims along with Operation Flashpoint and the Battlefield Series.  Unfortunately those days came to an end and I now participate in "traveling" LAN meets which include locations in Wisconsin, Utah, and my home state, California.  I am also active on-line with BBall and depending on our schedules, we try to fly on a regular basis.  Computers are a hobby of mine and I also build my own systems with one primary focus: run my games/flight simulators at their max potential!

I currently live in Northeastern California in a small mountain community north of Lake Tahoe and I am a currently a police officer.  I did not serve in the military since I started my career in law enforcement at the young age of 21 but I have been and will continue to be a supporter of our men and women in uniform.  I have been an airplane/helicopter enthusiast since I was a young boy and while my dream was always to fly, that never happened.  But, the next best thing is flight simulators so that will suffice.  

I am currently 40 years old and while I am very enthusiastic about flying the Huey, I do have a dedicated job which involves abnormal work hours which can limit my participation.  Either way, I hope to be able to fly with your organization.

Hi Griff...we were warned you were coming by BBall...lol. Welcome to the 1st Cav. I think you'll enjoy flying with the members here. We have quite a talented bunch of UH-1enthusiast and we love flying with like minded individuals like yourself. You will be assigned to A Company 229 (North America) so go to user groups in the menu at the top of this thread and select the above mentioned group. Our company commander, Captain Skullz (also in law enforcement), will be along to get you processed. I look forward to flying with you.
