Evening gents, coming back to DCS after some time in the non-combat sims and got sucked into a Youtube hole watching DCS vids. Looking to upgrade my gaming laptop to run P3D and noticed that the rotary side is once again forgotten. Just completed a massive update to my DCS and had the Huey from day one, just not alot of time in her. Long time flight simmer that continued after I switched to the real world. In the other sim platform have been a member of several military based Virtual Airlines.

Real world I am a soon to be retired Army Aviator moving on to the civilian side of things having spent my Army time on UH-60A/A+A/Ls before searching for the greener side of fixed wing. Before that I was squid and crewed SH-60/HH-60s, so very comfortable over water and yes I'm ok with Navy jokes. Currently in Texas, but relocation plans are up to the wife and she's from Phoenix (can't be that much hotter right?).

Looking forward to contributing in any way I can and just having fun online again. I'm all set up with TM Warthog sticks and pedals.

Come on TeamSpeak when you can.  Someone will show ya around and get you modded up for the 229th servers.

Looking in my spam and not seeing the Co assignment/Welcome. Can I get that resent? I see you guys are on the 1.5 servers, but I just let 2 Open run it's long update, anything going on on 2?

While busy flying form in the Hornet saw 2 guys last night on MP chat in the Aerobatics server and reminded me to re-visit. I was waiting for a new cpu to load up DCS 2.5, that has now happened so I'm on DCS re-learning everything again and pulled the Huey out of the barn.
