FORUM EVENTS FUNCTION ACTIVATED

As a trial, I have activated the FORUM EVENTS FUNCTION to publicise any mission, flying or training events without clogging up the forum posts the way the Calender function does.

Events may be added by any Administrator, Instructor, Unit trainer, Company Commander or HCC member.

There is a 'EVENTS' tag in the top menu and a calender date is in bold for any published event.

I trying to re-introduce regular fly-in slots in the EU time zones and D Coy missions at the weekend - this may help.

Some entries have been added.  Have a look...

I did not discuss this at HCC so I may asked to remove this function.. but forgiveness is easily asked rather than trying to obtain permission..

Is it possible to follow the events with iCal or Google Calendar, that would be even better.

Of course ICE, just one click will now add it to your Google Calendar... see picture below....

GOOD... I think it only adds a particular event rather than updating all as such.... but then I haven't gone into it too deep..

EVENTS can be viewed at any time, here....



Notification of upcoming events and MOD changes are forwarded by PM if you are a member of usergroup BROADCAST.

To stop/start receiving broadcast messages, simply leave/join the BROADCAST usergroup.
