CDI fix indeed!

Yah, fixed for VOR but now it's broke in FM homing. Worse off now for the Huey.

I know saw that.... sounds like a coding thing... if you've ever done it and tried to work out someone's else's code who did not populated it with loads of notes of what is what... it becomes an absolute nightmare trying to fix it... you know change one things and it effects others that you weren't even aware of... suppose we live in hope...

Roger..... The needle should indicate the side of the aircraft that the signal is being received on but now thats reversed...
So now, if its on the left side the signal is stronger on your right..... ha ha just in time for the Argo campaign for what missions I've flown just loves FM homing....

Re: CDI fix indeed!
Forgot to mention the VOR indication works good now... check out on the VHF NAV radio in the huey using Gelendzhik VOR 114.3MHz.
For those who may be interested if you want to use a radial for ILS approach set the course knob to 34° or 214° magnetic depending on your approach...
If you using a planned bearing from the VOR transmitter off the F10 map remember to subtract 6° for the difference between GRID and DCS Mag North...
If you want a practical hand with that stuff, just shout...

Re: CDI fix indeed!
Nope. VOR radials seem to be good at least with me at Gelendzhik with the correct course set. I'm not sure whether Gelendzhik ever produced the signal for height deviation though as I am always low and of no interest,,,

Re: CDI fix indeed!
I think these must both now be working becasue I'm needing to use FM and ADF homing on the Argo missions (not bragging but 100-200ft ft vis at night in a storm and not cheating with auto-pilot I managed to find everything). Have not tried ILS approaches though.

I also confirm that everything is now working properly, in the last few days I have been doing every type of navigation, especially FM homing for SAR, and just yesterday a blind navigation and approach using NDB/ADF, VOR, ILS...
