OPERATION ZHEMCHUZHNYY HARBOUR

SITREP:

In the preceding 12 month period BLUEFOR with the backing of NATO Forces, have pushed the SOVIET supported REDFOR all the way back to the coastal region in the North of the country. REDFOR have managed to maintain a presence at both GELENDZHIK and NOVOROSSIYSK Airfields with the backing of Putin's military assistance programme.
This stalemate position has remained  extant for the last 6 months and BLUEFOR are determined to expel REDFOR from its shores and any associated SOVIET military assets. NATO have agreed to support this forthcoming action with numerous air assets based at Maykop Khanskaya, Krymsk and FARP Dublin. The operation will take place on a Sunday morning when hopefully most REDFOR and SOVIET troops will be on a weekend pass. It draws some historic parallels notably to the attack on Pearl Harbour and the literal translation of the Russian word ZHEMCHUZHNYY is Pearl.

• Viggen Naval Strike Package... 2 Ship to attack Soviet Naval assets anchored offshore.
• Viggen Airfield Strike Package... 2 Ship to attack both airfields to prevent the launch of SOVIET air assets (RUNWAY DENIAL).
• Mig 29/Mirage Strike Package Escort... to and from the AO.
• Hawg Flight CAS & AAA Engagement... 2 Ship to remove AAA threats at both Airfields prior to strike package arrival. Support of Troop Insertions.
• Huey Flight Gelendzhik Insertion... 4 Ship to insert troops and vehicles to assist in the capture of the Airfield.
• Huey Flight Novorossiysk Insertion... 4 Ship to insert troops and vehicles to assist in the capture of the Airfield.
• Huey Gunship Escort... 2 Ship to provide escort for the Airfield Insertion Huey's... 1 Gunship per Insertion Flight. Provide CAS for troops on the ground following insertion.

FM Radio is reserved in the Huey for Navigation Beacons that are set at each waypoint. Frequencies are highlighted in the F10 Menu "Mission Tasking/Brief".

Sounds great thanks, and I don't want to be a killjoy but the chances of everyone having those mods installed before thursday is nill. Lots of guys join on a thursday without ever checking the forums. Just saying! Are they entirely neccessary?

I think the mods are not necessary for every aspect just additional things.. that's how I read it anyway.

Mission is up on the 229 mission server, however it crashes my DCS when I try to join and presents 3 mission script error pop-ups on the server.

Something about "attempt to index global 'debug' (a nil value)"

Update: If I clear the mission script error pop-ups on the server, I can restart my DCS and join successfully.
