Yeah me too, but because of these strand-alone games that are increasingly more accurate, it will inevitably push "our" F-18 development further out due to a perceived migration to the new platform (weak potential future revenue due to competitive advantage = lack of R&D interest),...maybe not...if a DCS developer (any one of them with foresight) can somehow partner/reverse engineer, beg barrow or steal some of the data created to build this new platform (IF it turns out to be a winner), then we could have a PFM soon enough...let's keep our fingers crossed and hope some sharp eyed developer is coiled and waiting to jump at the right time.
