So internet went down 2 days ago (still kind of is, getting 68kb download speeds). The logical part of my brain told me that this is a connectivity issue with my wi-fi adapter and my modem and router. My motherboard (MSI z70a M9 ACK, $400 USD) already had an issue with the onboard ethernet controller, so I said to myself yeah, ok...perhaps its time to RMA the board but I dont have 2 weeks of downtime so Ill go get another motherboard while I wait for the RMA to come back. So I got an Asus Z170 premium, spend 8 hours cleaning up the computer and redoing all the wire routing in the case...then my neighbor came over and told me their internet was down too. Never occurred to me that the internet might be down , so I just blew $500 bucks on a new motherboard to replace a $400 dollar motherboard that was working fine with the exception of the ethernet controller. So after I get done with this RMA, umm...anyone looking for some new hardware they may need at a discounted price?
