I see a lot of people coming and going in here without really participating in anything. To calm down the chatter and declutter the forums, instead of just welcoming people in can we do a few introduction flights before passing out WOC commissions? This way we can see how interested they are in participating with the group at first, and it will give us (at least me) a reason to come online and fly a little bit more often and can help with the training regiment for both WOCs and up-and-coming senior wing/masters a chance to gain some instructor time. Ive also seen a few recruits online who dont have their priorities straight while choosing airframes in the server.

Edit: I am not complaining about this at all, we're all guilty of it from time to time, but this isnt exactly setting a good example for the new recruits who want to learn the Huey. I just personally think that we should master the UH-1H first and foremost before we can move onto tinkering with other aircraft...and on that subject, how about prioritizing aircraft training too? I see Six has a wing started for the Mi-8/17, I believe we should standardize at the most 2 aircraft that people should train on at any given time. IRL, I think you can be current on 3 aircraft types at a time. Again, just my two cents...

You brought up some good points. It may have gotten lost in the forums, but it used to state that you had to have your senior wings in the Huey before you could work on your Mi8/Mi17 wings. We might have to look at similar polices for new and upcoming aircraft. I think the new training program will address some of your concerns, along with some knew polices Strut is working on.
