It definitely is. I don't know how realistic the helicopter flight dynamics are but they look and sound great watching videos of game play. I can't wait for it to be released. The vegetation even whips around when you hover near the tops of trees or the ground. Just awesome looking.

Yup... I signed up for this, apart from an acknowledgement about my sign up I have heard nothing.  Still waiting for Star Citizen as well

Got my invitation yesterday too, but I've got to say I feel a little disappointed.

The infantry gameplay is great, but the graphics thus far are nothing like what they show in the videos in the couple of matches I've played. The foliage isn't as lush or dense, the gamma seems too bright, and it feels more like an Arma 2 (yes 2, not 3) mod right now than what I watched in the videos (all settings on Ultra), maybe I had my expectations set too high.

I flew the AH-1 and AH-6 around yesterday, but they're mouse and keyboard only at present and the flight models (with advanced ticked) behave like you'd expect an arcade shooters flight model to behave. I plan to spend a little more time in it today, so I'll update the thread as I go.

OK thanks for the update. I've read that the beta is not as polished as the final product so keep that in mind as well.

This is available on steam at 50% off ATM. It is well worth 10£ it is very enjoyable but frustrating in that you can get killed a lot !
