B Co. Nato Ops Mission 3 2/7/16
Gentlemen we have been tasked by our NATO taskmasters to assault an enemy training camp deep into the mountain valleys. Full details will be available in an intel package in plenty of time
The air package as it stands are
1xKA-50
2xUh-1h Gunships
6xUh-1h Slicks
Ground troops from Omega: Stationed in Mariupol the unit has been active in the 2014 War in Donbass. Designed to combat terrorism, often works along with Vega special forces unit.
Also Cobra: Specializes in mountain combat
Both Ukranian Special Forces and active forces of the Ministry of the Interior seconded to Nato Stabalization Force
Fixed wing CAS and CAP may be available. Awaiting availablity
Early intel suggests both Manpad and ZSU variants active in the area. Forces in the camp will be mixed. Recruits will be present in the greatest number followed by instructors and other base personnel, cooks ETC. Other forces that may be present are militia resupplying and logistics personnel. Total number should not exceed 200 fighters.

As we have had limited numbers on Thursday and Friday nights so far in this deployment I will be aiming for saturday 2nd July 18.30 Zulu in the hope that we have a higher turnout. Please post availability and preference of airframes. Also there will be a tactical commander slot available and if anyone would care to fly fixed wing as long as we have filled the huey slots I will add it to mission. Please note anyone from A and C are welcome too if the times are doable I will add extra choppers as required wrote:

Blade up for Slicking...
P.S.: Yesterday we talked about some server setting, that influences the skill level of the dropped troops (among others too maybe?). This setting (I guess I heard once on TS) is set to „Rookie”on our server if I remember correctly? At one occasion on the map I even saw two of the 6-8 soldiers dropped, walking straight AWAY from the contact they should have fought. Also yesterday they were standing around on the road like in Disneyland, in front of the approaching convoy, instead of shooting at it. Could someone maybe set the troops’ skill to the highest possible, to have some use of them if we drop them on the right spot. It’s pretty frustrating to ferry dummies around, taking enemy fire to the Huey, just to watch the troops running away after insertion.
