UH-1 Ride
I finally got to ride in a UH-1H on Saturday. The American Huey 369 organization brought a restored UH-1H to Fort Niagara State Park, NY. If you have a chance I'd highly recommend making the effort to do this. Memberships can be purchased at the events they are attending. I was able to watch a start and go for about a 10 minute ride. The most memorable parts were when the rotor system was loaded up in turns and on approach. What a sound! I quickly realized my sim will need a little audio boost. Here's a quick video of one of the liftoffs.
