Re: The new Ancillary Machine
Great vid there my brutha!!!
I'm just feeling like I'm about 90% ready to go into battle on this horse...having tons of fun learning this French biotch.
One little thing I've worked into my bag of tricks is to map the "SPEED MODE" part of the autopilot onto my Warthog Throttle (it's only "ON" when I hold the button in)...so as I'm racing to get into position behind a hill/barn/outhouse...I mash on the button, the beast noses up and SMOOTHLY tries to get to 120KPH (I drop collective to keep my current altitude), and when I'm at 120, it's mucho easier to get it to under the magic number so I can engage the "AUTO HOVER w/ COLL" mode (I also use xxJohnxx 's advice, and select V/S on the NAV display to show groundspeed...a lot easier to know what my G/S happens to be, then to just eyeball it). Seems to work like a charm...
Again...great vid! Can't wait to find myself in a gaggle of "229ers" on my way to the target (and "Gazelle immortality"....lol).
