The Sundance Kid
Hey guys,
A link to my latest piece on the blog (still can't believe an old fart like me has the "gumption" to have something called a blog! )
This tale is about when my Dad used to take me to work with him AFTER he retired from the Army. He took a job as a civilian instructor pilot (contracted to the Army) to teach at their Primary Helicopter Center at Ft. Wolters, Texas. They were magical days for a young teenager, and I hope you enjoy the stroll down memory lane with me.

Have a great day all.

Re: The Sundance Kid
You're welcome guys.
Yeah, DB, he was a great guy. NOT PERFECT, he had his "moments" (don't we all), but all in all, I think I kinda won the lottery when it came to picking out parents. Where he lacked, my dear Mother picked up the slack, and vice versa...they were truly like a pair of bookends. It didn't shock me at all that they departed this world a scant 3 months apart (almost to the day). One was simply lost without the other. Even after 23 years, I miss them both terribly every day...
Have a great day all.
