someone can tell me what this instrument is for?
i mean the small lever upper right beside the both-panel/switch Hyd Cont.

...I believe you are looking at the "Defroster" lever... Used for defrosting the Windshield.

Sundog, I would agree with Hawkeye. If your referring to the grey slider to the right the Hydraulic control switch (HYD CONT), that is the front window screen defrost. In the Huey -10 it is listed as a "hot air control lever." There is one on each side of the lower panel...one for the pilot and one for the co-pilot and if I'm not mistaken it runs off of engine bleed air (Hawkeye help me out...I may be wrong about that).

You are correct Flyer


Depending on the Helicopter Serial Number & Upgrades available it's 1 of 3 types...


1 Bleed air from the engine
2 Combustion Heater
3 Auxiliary Exhaust Heat exchanger system


It's Engine Bleed air... no matter where it's made
