How's it going everyone?

I'm having trouble (also known as 'not') finding the 229th server. I haven't seen anything throughout the forum except that almost a month ago there was an issue. The only thing the welcome message said was the server will start with 229.

Is there something special I have to do to find it?
Is there an IP address I can use to locate it?
Is it just down for now?

Hope I can clear this up for me and anyone else who may be confused. I also hope the answer isn't right under my nose. Thanks for any help gents!

What flavor of DCS are you trying to connect in multiplayer 1.2, 1.5 or 2.0?

The only 229 server that I see running right now is for 2.0...I could not check for 1.2 cuz don't have it installed.

Oh okay sounds good. So sounds like definitely not 1.2 cause that's what I have had. Maybe 1.5, and definitely 2.0.
So the only way to hop on the 2.0 would be to purchase the Nevada terrain? Just making sure so I know if/what direction my cash flow needs to head lol.

I'm extremely new to this whole mod concept. The original simulations were intense enough for me haha.

Atm (almost) everybody is running 1.5 and/or 2.0. Eventually there will be new mission created for Nevada and Caucasus as soon as 1.5 and 2.0 are merged together. So if you have the money available you can either get 2.0 now or just wait and continue with 1.5. Some folks will gladly join you in a 1.5 flight aswell if you need some training.

The 229th has 2 dedicated multiplayer servers, a 1.5 and a 2.0. No 1.2.
