So, I get on the computer this afternoon planning to get into DCS world and fly a little bit and noticed Nvidia experience prompted me to update my drivers. It's supposed to be a Windows 10 driver, so against my better judgment I clicked on it.  Now, all I see is a freaking black screen on my monitor and nothing I do seems to work. I can't get into safe mode or anything else.  I even tried to use my windows 10 start up disk that I made and it will not let me revert back to Windows 7 or repair the computer. Has anyone else had the similar issue? If so would you please tell me how you were able to fix it. I don't want to have to reformat the hard drive and start all over again…

Thank god I didn't upgrade!

Questions would be:

Do you have more than 1 monitor attached?
Do you see the BIOS Post message?
What connector are you using (VGA, DVI, HDMI, Display Port)?

Hey Skullz, I was having issues over this last weekend with pop-ups and hacker messages telling me I've been attacked and need to "call this number" to get it fixed...if I'm not mistaken it was around the same Windows 10 driver update...I called Windows support and it was an hour and a half wait due to high volume...I think I know why they were experiencing heavy support traffic...I went into the control panel and they have a button to switch back to Windows 7 or 8.1 and I went back to 8.1. I made the same mistake when 8.0 came out (you might remember all the bitching I did back then). I'll wait until Windows 10.1 comes out before upgrading again. I hope you get it fixed.
