Gday Gents, Ladies? Shadowdog trying to run down a spot in the Cav, I have been into Sims fro a few years now I started on the original Gunship you know the one where the hills were triangles and the tanks were like a smoke packet with a box of matches on top with one match sticking out for the barrel. Well maybe most of you don't know but back in the day it was cutting edge, at 50 I pass the age requirement and then some if only my flying was 50 years better doh! I have had a go at just about everything in between Gunship and DCS if it has wings or rotor's and was as real as they could get it I had a go at it.

I am a K1W1 (New Zealand) living at Taupo central North Island, but I work overseas so I'm away for a mth at a time I can stay in touch via email and so forth but no sim flying while at work.

Any way looking forward to kicking around with you guys and getting to know the DCS Huey.

I can remember trying to load gunship from tape and it always failing after an hour of loading! I think I only got to play it once!

Welcome the 229th Shadowdog. Make surte you go to the "Usergroup" link at the top and select the company you would like to be assigned to. Because you live in one region but work in the other it will be you choose as to the company (time zone) you want to fly with.  I will send your assignment orders via PM.  They will outline the steps necessary to get set up to fly with us.  I look forward to flying with you.

hi Shadowdog, mate sorry i've missed this post. Ive accepted you into C Company, and i see Flyer has beaten me to a PM again.
We have a few airline pilots and active duty members that are away for days to weeks at a time, so thats not a problem, fly when you can.
