I was browsing the ED forums and came across a posting for a podcast that is put out by the 476th. http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=132796, http://www.podcastgarden.com/podcast/476podcast I was just wondering if anyone would listen to a weekly or monthly podcast directed at 1st Cav personnel? This seems like it would be a great way to pass news and event information throughout the unit.  I have never done any podcasting but am willing to volunteer to search out the information and put something together.

I have a home project studio, and can "process" the audio if you want.

Nice idea, do you think there will be a need for a weekly podcast though. I mean would there be enough happening in a week to flesh out a podcast?
Monthly i think would be nice, perhaps even the odd fortnightly one.

I agree with you Livebait. I would maybe start out with a monthly podcast.  If we find that there's more activity, news, and interest we can always put more out there.

Good idea mate, speaking from experience of having produced newsletters at my work, monthly is best otherwise the workload is just too high to find enough content to publish weekly and find time to, you know, fly...!

Bah, an amateur... in my squadron we have a guy called Strut...

I think I mentioned to Phantom the other night on TS that I am willing to mix and add effects.  All I would need would be the plain recording.  If Samuri wants this job thats fine, i could be an alternate, or we could split the work or trade out.  Just putting the offer out there.  Love this idea, and monthly sounds about right to me.  I'm hoping we can get a regular mission time going each week.  We could even put things about our upcoming missions, or 'how to' segments.  Just let me know what I can do to help.
