Re: Perspective on the NTTR Map
If I'm not mistaken, the Regiment that I was with in Germany, the 11th ACR is stationed there as the primary training unit, so it will be cool to see this map...

Re: Perspective on the NTTR Map
Land locked for a couple of reasons.
1 It encompasses a major training area.
2 There is no way to open this map up to the ocean without modelling some significant city's (Los Angeles, San Francisco, Sacramento and so on)
3 leading on from 2, there are very few heavily populated areas in the area

IRT - 1. Acceptable i can understand that..and i look forward to a new place to fly, especially down the Grand Canyon.
IRT - 2. We do fly in the air - who says we have to have Large city's and towns modeled we could base this on "Imaginary" country's , god knows we all did it in the military - remember Musoria ? I loved killing Musorians......
IRT - 3. Same as 2 ----

You know what, you're quite right, I'd happily fly over an imaginary country against an imaginary enemy... As long as the military spending cutbacks don't make be shout "bang, bang, bang" and "whoooosh" instead of firing my weapons
