"Fan", as you say, will -1W, and not -1G. Have already reviewed. But it has not yet be in the near future, we probably will adjust plans a bit ..

Sounds good to me, a worthy counterpart to the KA-50 at least, the AH-1G would have been badly lacking...

Bullshit helicopter. We would have to wait another few years for them to build that. They are still talking a lot about the F model though. I will wait for the official announcement before I start caring about their stupid decisions.

I know it doesn't have the capabilities of the Apache, but I don't think it will be a bad addition to DCS. We will finally have a Hellfire capable platform, as well as some night capability with the IR sensor.
I would expect them to start with the default Ah-1w model in DCS, and probably the new flight model could be based off the Hueys. This could help development time.
They could also probably steal some stuff from the a10 including the RWR system as well as the basics of the targeting system code. Possibly even the CDU though I have no idea how close they will be between the different aircraft

Ill be happy with a F. TOWs and a RWR. Atleast a little help against heavy armor and some sort of indications for radars. Now go BST and deliver! Its taking ages
