Here is one of the emergency procedures I would learn and memorize for your wings testing and training. These can be found in chapter 9 of the -10. Read over the task in the ATM and give chapter 5, 8 & 9 a glance as you start training.


A. Symptoms of Single Engine Failure:
• Aircraft yaws to right
• Drop in N1, PTIT, and Nr (failed engine)
• Increase in N1, PTIT, and Nr (operating engine)

B. Single Engine Failure Recovery
1. Collective Adjust Maintain Nr
2. Airspeed Adjust As required
3. ECI's Full up (Mi-8MTV only)
4. External Stores Jettison If required

If single engine flight is possible:
5. Land As Soon As Practicable

If single engine is not possible:
6. Land As Soon As possible
