Hi all,

I'm Wim (38) and live in Belgium. I've been playing DCS since 2015. I mostly fly the Huey now and on rare occasions the A-10C or the SU-25A. Two months ago I bought a new PC
for DCS, after not playing for over a year. I briefly tried VR (oculus) but returned it (tilted horizon issue, and the lack of res. fov ...), I'll definitely buy a CV2 or pimax eventually. For now, trackIR.

I would like to join the 229th to experience MP catered to helicopter flight; to learn and become more proficient in flying/operating the Huey and just to
have fun and meet fellow DCS helicopter pilots.

As far as time to fly, certainly two times a week and during the weekends.

Hello RabidRider, welcome to the 229th. You’ll find all the guys here very friendly and super helpful so I’m sure you’ll definitely have a great time here at the 229th.

The instructors and Admin guys all monitor this page very closely so rest assured that one of them will be along shortly to get you all enlisted and help you get setup ready to attack the big blue sky… :-)

Teamspeak and discord are where the majority of activity is. There's alot of stuff to get squared away, like mods, server info, teamspeak info, but there are a lot of helpful people around here who can lend you a hand.
